THE PERSON BEHIND THE MONKEY

Meet the
Monkey King.

Michael Conway · Founder

A serious background in real estate.
A straightforward belief in helping people.

HELP FIRST. BUILD FROM THERE.

Good advice can change
someone's next move.

Michael created Mobile Home Monkey to help people understand what it takes to put a manufactured home on a piece of land. His aim is simple: make the questions easier to ask, catch potential problems early, and help people find a practical path forward.

That approach comes from a career spanning commercial real-estate finance, brokerage, redevelopment and hands-on property ownership. Michael has worked on institutional investment portfolios and neighborhood properties alike. Across those projects, one lesson keeps coming back: understand the property before making the commitment.

From office space to a place to call home.

Years ago, Michael built OfficeDirectory.com to help people find commercial space. What began as an advertising idea became a source of relationships and a successful brokerage business. Giving people useful information opened the door to helping them with the actual transaction.

Mobile Home Monkey follows the same philosophy. Start with something useful. Help people understand their options. Offer professional help when they want it.

“If you help enough people, money will never be a problem for you.”Michael's guiding belief

Experience behind the advice.

At Prudential, Michael's work included oversight of a $2.1 billion commercial real-estate investment portfolio, along with property workouts and dispositions. As Senior Vice President of Financial Services at CB Richard Ellis, he led analysts and financial specialists supporting investment and leasing decisions.

He later led his own real-estate brokerage and built a portfolio of residential and mixed-use properties through Chillbilly Holdings. His redevelopment experience includes a public-private project integrating a downtown Naperville parking expansion with private development.

His education includes an MBA from Wharton, a JD from South Texas College of Law, and a bachelor's degree in economics from Texas A&M University.

A guide, a sounding board, a next step.

You may be exploring manufactured-home ownership, comparing lots, or already holding the keys to a property. Michael wants this guide to help you ask better questions and avoid preventable surprises.

We're building toward lot screening, local installer connections and optional permit-processing help. The goal is to make a complicated process easier to understand—and help more people move forward with a clear plan.
